FAQs

How long until I get my order?

We always dispatch within 24hrs of order but will endeavour to get your order out as soon as possible. Please acknowledge that orders placed on a Sunday or Bank Holiday Monday will not be processed till the next working day so these orders may take slightly longer to arrive.

What are the post and packaging charges?

Your items will be sent via Royal Mail, 1st class tracked delivery or by courier for larger orders.

We offer free delivery on our full range.

Do you send a confirmation of dispatch?

You should receive an email notification via your paypal order to confirm dispatch and we will add the tracking detail to the paypal confirmation along with which carrier has been used for your order.  Due to COVID19, it may take slightly longer than usual for your order to arrive. If you haven’t received your order within 7 days, please, feel free to get in touch at ginfo@gandtea.uk and we will be delighted to help you.

What is your returns policy?

If you are not delighted with your order we will refund the full value of any product(s) purchased, provided you are able to return the product(s) in question to us within 30 days of receipt of your order and your items are returned to us in a resalable condition. This means unopened and in the same condition you received them and with any labels and packaging intact.

Please email us in the first instance ginfo@gandtea.uk including your name, order number and delivery postcode. Please also include a picture of the product where possible.

Please note we are unable to refund the cost of postage on return items. The cost of returning items (unless damaged or faulty) is down to you and we recommend obtaining a Proof of Postage certificate which is free from the Post Office when returning an item.

Why are you bottles not more elaborate?

We know that there are some stunning looking bottles of gin out there and when you buy one it almost seems a shame to open it. We also know that many people have brought a gin for the look of the bottle rather than the taste, (we’ve all been guilty of that). Here at G&Tea, we’ve worked hard to create something truly special with the emphasis on the gin, we still think our bottles and designs are delightful and we hope you enjoy them, but for us more than anything, it’s all about the taste.

Are your Gins suitable for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes, our gins are both vegetarian and vegan friendly.

What about Allergens?

At G&Tea we strive to create products that utilise a wonderful array of ingredients sourced both locally and from around the world. The majority of our products are free from known ingredients which can cause allergic reactions. However, some of the ingredients we use in the gins and teas may contain traces of nuts and other ingredients that some people may be allergic to. Most are only low level but might not be suitable for someone with allergens.

If you are unsure if one of our products has something in it you can’t have, then please check out the product description which contains a list of the ingredients it contains. Please note, our products are lovingly hand packed in the UK in environments that handle many different ingredients, therefore we cannot 100% guarantee no cross-contamination.

What is your environmental and sustainability policy?

We try to be as environmentally minded as possible, our gins are distilled in small-batches from plough to bottle meaning everything is done on one estate utilising the local farmland and an aquifer under the distillery.

We have tried to keep our packaging minimal to help reduce waste and we use recycled cardboard and encourage customers to recycle the packaging where possible. Why not use your empty G&Tea bottle as a candle holder or pop in some fairy lights?

Our teas and ingredients are all made from the highest quality, ethically sourced natural ingredients and botanicals. If you are purchasing a Just Tea product, the teabags are made from natural corn silk utilising no plastics in the sealing process, unlike many other teabags on the market. This means the whole thing is completely biodegradable including the string and tag. The teas also come in a lovely caddy which can be used time and time again
